The main development happened in the time of Sk Hasena's era. At one end there was micro finance, school reforms and social stability, the other emd there was easy credit for large scale industrialization coupled with growth in textile industry. From Railway infrastructure to bridges to roads Bangladesh became a game changer in south asia. Also foreign remittance helped them a lot. The era of Hasena has other authoritarian issues by both Govt n Awami league but corruption is a function of development in entire south asia , esp in India Subcontinent. So both will be there come what may be.
